Getzner, a company specializing in protection against noise and vibrations, has decided to set up a facility in Lyon to be closer to its customers.

The Austrian firm Getzner Werkstoffe has operations in France through its subsidiary Getzner France SAS, the world leader in anti-vibration insulation for the construction, railway and industrial sectors. For more than 30 years, Getzner France has been installing highly elastic solutions that filter vibrations and noise. The company developed, in particular, a product for SNCF’s high-speed railway lines that will provide greater stability for the superstructure and reduce maintenance needs.

The Lyon branch is opening thanks to increased demand in France. “From our Lyon site, we are even closer to our customers and we can optimize our service,” explains Juergen Rainalter, Chief Executive Officer of Getzner Werkstoffe.

The company has already carried out a number of projects in France, for example, on the Grenoble and Marseille tramway lines. “Our references in the construction sector also include The Fondation Louis Vuitton art museum in Paris and the Paris Philharmonic,” adds Frédéric Caffin, Managing Director of Getzner France.
