Eurostar’s new line linking Lyon to London began service on 1 May 2015.

The line runs between Lyon Part-Dieu station and St-Pancras International station, located in the heart of London. The trip between the two cities takes a total of 5 hours 47 minutes. Three –and up to five to 5- trains will run every week, depending on the season. Trains leave Lyon for London at 5:25 p.m. and leave London for Lyon at 7:19 a.m. local time (7:51 a.m. on Sundays and holidays).

The creation of this line brings the cities of Lyon and London even closer together. In addition to new opportunities for tourism, the line is a considerable asset for the Lyon area’s economic development. An alternative to airline travel, the line is a newtransport solution that paves the way to new business connections between two of Europe’s leading cities.
