On June 25, the association of the LUTB Rhône-Alpes (Lyon Urban Truck & Bus) competitive cluster and of the RAAC (Rhône-Alpes Automobile Cluster) was awarded the Gold label by the The European Secretariat for Cluster Analysis (ESCA).

This European label rewarded the management and steering of its two major players in transportation and mobility innovation research, through the management of urban areas and the improvement of vehicles and fuels.

Indeed, the LUTB competitive cluster has the principal aim of anticipating the stakes of the transportation systems of the future, thereby making the Lyon area a global leader in the transportation of goods and people.

At present, the cluster has more than 60 projects, representing investments of roughly 200 million euros.
For its part, the Rhône-Alpes Automotive Cluster aims to strengthen the regional economic fabric by fostering links between the companies of the sector, in order to design sustainable technological solutions.
