The 15th May saw the launch of a new ONLYLYON  promotional campaign for the city of Lyon. The campaign will appear on LinkedIn in order to attract influential economic targets to invest in the Lyon urban area.

In fact, for two months, the LinkedIn platform, the No. 1 professional networking site, will be used by ONLYLYON via the page representing the Agency for Economic Development of the Lyon Region (Aderly- Invest in Lyon), who are funding the project.

 

The campaign will involve a direct e-mailing campaign and a wave of publicity in order to reach the greatest number of economic decision-makers possible (an estimated 900,000) in the strategic cities of Paris, London, Munich, Frankfurt, Milan, Geneva, Dubai, Beijing, Shanghai, Melbourne and Sydney.

This large initiative will allow the economic advantages of Lyon to be promoted, as well as the welcome services that companies can expect if they choose to locate to Lyon. 
The support and assistance for companies who wish to set up in Lyon is at the heart of Aderly’s strategy, which aims to boost Lyon’s strategic position as an attractive city with an international reputation.

This campaign will be paired with a large promotional initiative aimed at the tourism sector via the No.1 travel site, TripAdvisor , from the 1st May to the 1st August.

What’s more, ONLYLYON has launched a new wave of communication in the airports of Paris Charles de Gaulle, Paris Orly, Munich and Geneva. Video advertisements in the form of mini clips will feature different portraits of entrepreneurs who have chosen to set up their businesses in Lyon and will be shown in these international hubs, which are strategic locations for Europe.
The campaign should reach more than 13 million people over the course of one month.
