THE FRENCH TECH PROJECT AND THE CITY OF LYON LOOK TO CONQUER THE BIG APPLE
After the launch of the “French Tech Hub” ,in February 2004 in San Francisco, the centre of Silicon Valley, a French entrepreneur decided to look to the east coast of the United States by organising an event entirely devoted to the promotion of up-and-coming French businesses from the digital sector.
Gaël Duval, CEO and founder of Jechange.fr, decided to bring together a large number of potential international investors around the most innovative digital projects for a “French Touch conference” scheduled for the 26th and 27th of June, to be held in the AXA building, right in the centre of Manhattan, New York.
What’s his objective?
To support the “French Tech“, aimed at promoting around ten leading French cities in the digital sector by putting in place concrete actions with local stakeholders to boost the dynamism of the sector.
The city of Lyon and the whole of its digital sector (business services, start-up incubators), is in pole position for obtaining the label as it has placed the development and support of the digital sector at the centre of its strategy, in particular via Imaginove, the competitiveness cluster devoted to digital activities.
