Boiron, a Lyon-based laboratory   which specialises in homeopathy, moved its headquarters within the Lyon region in September 2013. Previously based in Sainte-Foy-lès-Lyon, the company decided to relocate to Messimy, to the west of Lyon, with most of its staff now working at the new headquarters.

The new site covers 16 hectares (42,000 sq. metres) and the company is already planning to extend it in a year and a half to two years’ time.

Boiron employs about 2,700 people in France and has 3,900 employees globally, with a sales turnover of €566.29 million in 2012, a rise of 8.2% compared to the previous year.
