<P>&nbsp;</P> <P align=justify><A title="" href="https://www.aderly.com/only_lyon/index,p,204,EN.jsp" target=_blank>ONLYLYON</A> and partners Aderly, <A title="" href="http://www.grandlyon.com/" target=_blank>Greater Lyon</A>, <A title="" href="http://www.en.lyon-france.com/" target=_blank>the Tourist Office</A>, <A title="" href="http://www.lyon.cci.fr/" target=_blank>the Lyon Chamber of Commerce </A>and <A title="" href="http://www.clusterlumiere.com/?lang=en" target=_blank>the Light Cluster </A>travelled to Dubai at the end of November to meet ambassadors and influential expatriates from the Rh&#244;ne-Alpes region in the United Arab <A title="" href="http://www.emirates.com/fr/english/index.aspx" target=_blank>Emirates</A>. This meeting, organised in partnership with Emirates airlines, was an opportunity<STRONG> to celebrate the first anniversary of the opening of the Lyon-Dubai route</STRONG>.</P> <P align=justify>&nbsp;<BR>An event, the <STRONG>&#8220;ONLYLYON in Dubai event&#8221;,</STRONG> was organised for the 24<SUP>th</SUP> November <STRONG>to promote the route and the two destinations. The teams were therefore able to promote Lyon&#8217;s many attractions</STRONG> through this event and through meetings with representatives from Dubai&#8217;s council and economic authorities interested in the city of Lyon. </P> <P align=justify><BR>The trip was also an opportunity for ONLYLYON to <STRONG>reveal and promote the <A title="" href="https://www.aderly.com/evenement-culturel/world-heritage-unesco-site-lyon,p,40,EN.jsp" target=_blank>historical</A>, <A title="" href="https://www.aderly.com/culture-et-patrimoine/france-patrimoine,p,41,FR.jsp" target=_blank>cultural</A>, <A title="" href="https://www.aderly.com/france-patrimoine/culture-et-patrimoine,p,42,FR.jsp" target=_blank>gastronomic</A>, and <A title="" href="https://www.aderly.com/implantation-entreprise/agences-de-developpement-economique,p,5,FR.jsp" target=_blank>economic</A> assets that Lyon has to offer</STRONG> to an international audience. <STRONG>The mission was a success and Lyon&#8217;s Festival of Lights will be recreated in Dubai as a result.</STRONG> The Emirati capital has asked the City of Lyon to assist with creating its own Festival of Lights, the Dubai Light Festival, with the first edition planned for the spring of 2014. The artistic programme will be completely organised by teams from Lyon. <BR></P>
