The transfer took place last May and was celebrated at the end of October in the presence of its founder, Norbert Dentressangle. The decision to relocate was due to the desire to align the organisation of the company’s legal and managerial services. In fact, the group’s general management team, which numbers about 30 people, has been based in Lyon since July 2009. Lyon was also a natural choice thanks to the area’s excellent logistics – there are 115,000 employees and more than 3 million sq. metres of premises in the sector. The area also has a number of geographical advantages, including the fact that salaries and real estate costs are lower than in Paris, whilst the quality of life in Lyon is exceptional.

The inauguration provided the opportunity for Norbert Dentressangle to talk about the history of the company, which was founded in 1979 at Saint-Vallier in the Drôme region.
