<P>&nbsp;</P> <P align=justify>Aderly, in partnership with the <A title="" href="http://grandlyon.com/" target=_blank>Greater Lyon </A>international management team and the <A title="" href="https://www.aderly.com/adm1n/editor/www.lyon.cci.fr" target=_blank>Lyon Chamber of Commerce</A>, organised a trip to Asia (Japan, South Korea and China) under the <A title="" href="https://www.aderly.com/only_lyon/index,p,204,EN.jsp" target=_blank>ONLYLYON</A> banner from the 15th &#8211; 27th July of this year. Led by <STRONG>G&#233;rard Collomb and Philipe Grillot</STRONG>, the main objectives of the trip were to meet with a number of large Japanese, Chinese and South-Korean groups who are already present in the Lyon region with a view to <STRONG>consolidating investments</STRONG>, <STRONG>making new business contacts</STRONG> with potential investment projects in the Lyon region, strengthening ties between Lyon&#8217;s institutions and universities and twin towns such as Canton and Yokohama, and<STRONG> supporting businesses from Lyon</STRONG> with their development projects in Asia.&nbsp; </P> <P align=justify><BR>Lyon is often perceived as<STRONG> a model</STRONG> by the Asian cities the team visited, according to representatives from the cities of Seoul, Canton and Yokohama and a number of journalists and company directors. Achieving <STRONG>growth and excellence</STRONG>, <STRONG><STRONG><A title="" href="https://www.aderly.com/evenement-culturel/world-heritage-unesco-site-lyon,p,40,EN.jsp" target=_blank>quality of life</A></STRONG></STRONG>, <STRONG><STRONG><A title="" href="https://www.aderly.com/implantation-entreprise/lyon-european-city-france,p,5,EN.jsp" target=_blank>economic performance</A></STRONG></STRONG>, <STRONG>sustainable development and urbanisation</STRONG>: these are the challenges that large Asian cities face and which they believe to have been tackled with intelligence and pragmatism by the city of Lyon!&nbsp; </P> <P align=justify><BR><STRONG>The number of qualitative press reports</STRONG> generated in the three countries visited testifies to the success of the trip. In fact, there were no less than <STRONG>61 press reports</STRONG> in the <STRONG>3 countries</STRONG> visited in the space of <STRONG>just two months</STRONG>. Some of the main publications that ran articles on the trip included Nihon Keizai Shimbun, the leading international financial daily newspaper which sells over 300,000 copies per day and is read by all the Japanese and foreign business people; Korea Joongang Daily, one of the 3 main Korean newspapers, and&nbsp; Sina News, the biggest Chinese entertainment portal, with 95 million users per day.&nbsp; </P> <P align=justify><BR>Lyon is a city with an <STRONG>international profile</STRONG> which generates interest from the most influential journalists and attracts students, entrepreneurs and Asian investors. <BR>&nbsp;</P> <P>&nbsp;</P> <P align=justify>&nbsp;</P>
