<P>&nbsp;</P> <P align=justify><STRONG>The European Centre of Dermocosmetology (CED) is a trade association founded in 1962</STRONG>, whose original objective was the <STRONG><STRONG><A title="" href="https://www.aderly.com/cosmetique-fashion-france/cosmetic-beauty-industry-dermocosmetology,p,63,EN.jsp" target=_blank>promotion of high-level instruction in cosmetology</A></STRONG></STRONG>. Today, the CED&#8217;s goals include f<STRONG>acilitating relations between academic researchers and industry, and creating links to professional associations abroad</STRONG> by taking part in international trade fairs. </P> <P align=justify><BR>The CED celebrated its 50<SUP>th</SUP> anniversary in the magnificent "Salle de la Corbeille" hall in the Palais de la Bourse building. In addition to the traditional gala dinner, a theater group performed an original and humorous piece about the center&#8217;s history. </P> <P align=justify>&nbsp;</P> <P align=justify><STRONG>Great success for the XXVI<SUP>th</SUP> European Dermocosmetology Day in Lyon</STRONG></P> <P align=justify><BR>In 1966 the first European Dermocosmetology Days were organized in Lyon &#8211; the event consists of two days of <STRONG>high-level scientific conferences which attract R&amp;D managers from all the large national and international cosmetics groups</STRONG>. On the 7<SUP>th</SUP> and 8<SUP>th</SUP> of February 2013 the 26<SUP>th</SUP> edition took place, featuring high-level scientific conferences on different topics, notably, scarring: the physiopathology of scarring, stem cells,&nbsp; tissue engineering and healing, protocols, and in-vitro and in-vivo tests carried out to objectivize scar healing, etc. Following this successful edition, the CED invites participants to attend the 27<SUP>th</SUP> edition in 2015, and a satellite meeting during the IFSCC congress in Paris on the 31<SUP>st</SUP> October 2014.</P> <P align=justify><BR>If you’d like to find out more about the European Center of Dermocosmetology, <A title="" href="http://www.ced-lyon.com/" target=_blank>visit the new Internet site</A>.<BR></P>
