How can a mix of energy sources be achieved by 2025? How much should be budgeted for the initiative? </P> <P align=justify><BR><STRONG>Since</STRONG> <STRONG>2004, innovative energy policies have been put in place in order to make Rh&#244;ne-Alpes a world eco-region</STRONG>. In addition, the region hosts a number of <STRONG>businesses from the energy sector who bring dynamism</STRONG> through projects and investment.<BR>&nbsp;</P> <P align=justify>For example, <STRONG>ERDF, who are present in the region, announced &#8364;47.2m of investment in 2012 in the Lyon area</STRONG> and the company intends to continue this policy into 2013. The planned projects aim to significantly develop certain electricity networks and require extra staff to be taken on: ERDF has recruited an extra 44 people, bringing the total number of employees on their site to 820, with a view to taking on more staff in 2013.<BR>&nbsp;</P> <P align=justify>Also in the environment and energy sector, <STRONG>the company&nbsp;Veolia Propret&#233; intends to invest in Meyzieu, near Lyon</STRONG>. The company is going to set up a sorting center for the recycling of raw materials that will be used to produce a solid recovered fuel, an alternative to fossil fuels. <BR>&nbsp;</P> <P align=justify><A title="" href="https://www.aderly.com/biopole-lyon/biomass-companies,p,214,EN.jsp" target=_blank>The biomass energy valuation company </A><STRONG><A title="" href="https://www.aderly.com/biopole-lyon/biomass-companies,p,214,EN.jsp" target=_blank>Cogebio</A></STRONG><STRONG>, based in Irigny, announced that it has raised 1 million Euros in funds</STRONG> for the commercial development of its Gasclean invention, a bi-combustible burner which offers an alternative to fossil fuels. <BR></P>
