<P>&nbsp;</P> <P align=justify><STRONG>The <A title="" href="http://www.ced-lyon.com/-Evenements-du-CED-.html#497" target=_blank>26<SUP>th</SUP> European Dermocosmetology Days </A>will be held 7 and 8 February 2013 at Espace T&#234;te-d&#8217;Or in Lyon-Villeurbanne</STRONG>. This edition&#8217;s theme will be &#8220;<STRONG><STRONG><A title="" href="https://www.aderly.com/cosmetique-fashion-france/cosmetic-beauty-industry-dermocosmetology,p,63,EN.jsp" target=_blank>Dermocosmetology</A></STRONG>&#8217;s contribution to scar healing</STRONG>&#8221;. The first day will concentrate on different skin alterations (endogenic, exogenic and physiological) and on the different phases of scarring as well as scarring faults.&nbsp; The second day will study active ingredients that are effective at setting scarring in motion, new applications for stem cells, the role of medical programs and efficacy testing. Comparative regulation between medical programs and dermocosmetics will then be discussed, followed by esthetic practices to facilitate scarring.</P> <P align=justify><BR><STRONG>The European Dermocosmetology Days have been organized every two years in Lyon since 1966 by the <A title="" href="http://www.ced-lyon.com/?lang=en" target=_blank>European Dermocosmetology Center </A>(CED).</STRONG> <STRONG>The CED is a major actor in dermocosmetology in the Rhone-Alps region</STRONG> and has several missions, in particular supporting <A title="" href="https://www.aderly.com/pepiniere-entreprise/scientific-research-development-france,p,16,EN.jsp" target=_blank>research within the region </A>and favoring research relations that are developed within the region. This 26<SUP>th</SUP> edition is supported by the <A title="" href="http://www.sfcosmeto.fr/" target=_blank>French Cosmetology Society </A>and the <A title="" href="http://www.thebca.co/" target=_blank>Federation of Beauty Companies </A>(FEBEA). <STRONG>The scientific convention, which all major national and international cosmetic players attend, is targeted at cosmetic industry management (directors, R&amp;D, scientists, sales and marketing) and at <A title="" href="https://www.aderly.com/universite-lyon/school-university-france,p,15,EN.jsp" target=_blank>university</A> professors and researchers.<BR></STRONG></P>
