<P>&nbsp;</P> <P align=justify><STRONG>The Business Tourism Observatory&#8217;s results are excellent for the year 2011.</STRONG> By hosting close to 2.8 million visitor-days at over 18,000 events, <STRONG><STRONG><A style="COLOR: #e02020" title="" href="http://www.grandlyon.com/" target=_blank>Greater Lyon</A></STRONG> recorded in 2011 a significant 15.2% increase in visits compared to 2010</STRONG>. This higher activity level is explained by a <STRONG>greater number of events and visitors/participants but also longer professional meetings</STRONG> (congresses, trade fairs and exhibitions, and business meetings). <STRONG>The numbers confirm <A style="COLOR: #e02020" title="" href="https://www.aderly.com/implantation-entreprise/agences-de-developpement-economique,p,5,EN.jsp" target=_blank>Lyon&#8217;s dynamism </A>and promise continued good results in the years to come.</STRONG></P> <P align=justify><BR><STRONG><STRONG><A style="COLOR: #e02020" title="" href="http://www.eurexpo.com/" target=_blank>Eurexpo</A></STRONG> was the principal supplier of business tourism in Greater Lyon in 2011, with 1,165,032 visitor-days.
