The American group Genzyme specialises in innovative medical products and devices applied to orphan diseases, kidney diseases, orthopaedics, oncology, general surgery, transplantation and diagnostic testing.
With its 5 Regional Manager networks, the company counts over 320 employees in France and 7,600 worldwide. Its production plant, located in Marcy l’Etoile in the Lyon region, employs over 150 people and is in charge of the exclusive production of two drugs in the field of transplantation.
Thanks to the Lyon BioAdvisor® programme and to Aderly, in 2005, Genzyme set up its regional headquarters (10 employees) in the Lyon-Gerland area.
