A MASTERS IN ENTREPRENEURSHIP UNIQUE IN FRANCE

New in the Lyon area: the IDEA Master of Science IDEA offers a program targeting future entrepreneurs of innovation. This training program, dubbed IDEA for Innovation, Design, Entrepreneurship and Arts, is the fruit of a collaborative venture between Centrale Lyon Engineering School and EM Lyon School of Management. To be opened at the start of the 2012 academic year, the two-year program, which will combine classroom learning and hands-on work at companies, will be open to applicants with a Bachelor's degree (i.e. 3 years of study after the high school diploma). The curriculum, to be taught in both French and English, will enable students to work on a true innovation company startup project, with lectures given by professionals from various sectors (designers, architects, scientists, etc.) throughout the year.

Ranked as Europe’s 9th-favorite city by entrepreneurs in the latest ECER survey, the Lyon metropolitan area is thus pursuing its aims in terms of business spirit with this new diploma. Combining the scientific contribution from the Centrale Lyon  Engineering School (among the 10 best engineering schools in France) and the entrepreneurial dimension brought by EM Lyon (ranked 4th best business school in France and 15th in Europe), The IDEA Master’s program promises to attract tomorrow's talents to Lyon.
